The U.S. Embassy in Jakarta is seeking two individuals for the position of Chauffeur in the Motorpool Unit.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:

The Incumbent performs driving for State Motor Pool. These duties include the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the vehicle and completion of trip tickets each the vehicle is used.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

NOTE: All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item.

1. Completion of High School is required.

2. Minimum two (2) year experience as a professional driver with experience transporting passengers is required.

3. Level II (limited knowledge) in speaking/reading/writing English and fluency in Bahasa is required.

4. Must be knowledgeable about Jakarta, location of Government offices and Foreign Embassies.

5. Must have the ability to operate all types of vehicles. Must be able to perform preventive maintenance check to include adding water and oil. Must be able to check tires’ condition and for proper inflation level.
