The U.S. Embassy in Jakarta is seeking an individual for the position of Chauffeur with position numbers NMU051 in the Naval Medical Research Unit 2 (NAMRU2).

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:

The Incumbent operates automotive vehicles to transport passenger or cargo. Ensures vehicles are maintained in clean and presentable condition. Promptly reports any mechanical defect of vehicle to dispatcher. Assures repairs and preventive maintenance of vehicle is scheduled and accomplished.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

1. Completion of Junior High School is required.

2. Minimum one (1) year experience as a professional driver with experience transporting passengers is required.

3. Level II (limited knowledge) in speaking/reading/writing English and fluency in Bahasa is required.

4. Must be knowledgeable about Jakarta and surrounding areas.

5. Must have the ability to operates all types of vehicles under 3 tons including jeeps, carryalls, sedans, station wagons, pickup trucks and panel trucks. Must possess a valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM-B1)
