The U.S. Embassy in Jakarta is seeking an individual for the position of Computer Systems Analyst and Programming in the Information System Center (ISC).

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:

Under the general direction of the Senior Computer Systems Analyst, provides sophisticated application programming and design support using Visual Basic, SQL Access and other Microsoft products.  The majority of these are locally developed applications and databases to support specific mission offices requirement to organize, analyze and interpret data.  Design and maintains computer databases.  Also, designs and maintains the associated front end applications that meet reporting and interface needs; based upon target user audience.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

NOTE: All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item.

1.     Bachelor Degree in Computer Science is required.

 

2.     At least 3 years working experience with the following Microsoft Visual Basic, Access 2003-2007, MS SQL Server, HTML, ASP, ASP.Net, XML and Java Script including working in a web application development & supporting as programmer / analyst.

 

3.      Level III (good working knowledge) speaking/reading/writing both in English and Level IV Bahasa Indonesia is required.

 

4.     Must have thorough knowledge of systems analysis and design techniques; computer equipment and software capabilities/limitations; ADP procedure and standards: standard business/work processes and management principals; programming techniques/frameworks using .ASP and ASP.Net.

 

5.     Must have Database management skills, with a special emphasis on Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access structures is mandatory.  Must have experience in creating Web Service and Workflow forms using ASP.Net script and Microsoft InfoPath.

 

6.     Must be able to think analytically and conceptualize clearly to design programs to meet user business requirements.
