The U.S. Embassy in Jakarta is seeking an individual for the position of Administrative/Consular Assistant at the Consular Section.
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION:
The incumbent will serve as the administrative assistant to Consular Section, through Consul General and s/he will supervise the Consular Section’s Administrative and Communications Unit.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:

1. A minimum of 2 (two) years of college studies in office management, business administration or other related field.
2. At least 3 (three) years progressive experience involving the application of complex regulatory material along with extensive and successful public contact.
3. Level III (good working knowledge) of English and Level IV (fluent) Bahasa Indonesian is required.
4. Must have a general understanding of the Indonesian political and cultural environment, legal practices, as well as office management and administrative procedures and practices.
5. Must have proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office and Website Design software.

Must have interpersonal skills and have the ability to
take initiative and demonstrate customer service.
